About Sevottam




Govt of India has developed a “Certifiable frame work of Standards for Public Services” under the title ”IS 15700: 2005: SEVOTTAM” applicable to all Public Service Departments. It is a voluntary initiative to provide “Excellent Quality in Public Service”. The Scheme is implemented through Dept of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances –GoI. The States have been advised by the PMO to adopt throughout the Country. Karnataka has agreed to adopt SEVOTTAM initially in five departments like: Department of Women & Child Development, Health & Family Welfare, Industries & Commerce, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj and Municipal Administration departments. ATI Mysore has “SEVOTTAM TRAINING Cell” to facilitate Capacity Building Activities on SEVOTTAM for these departments since2011.
